"Choosing Groove Tunes Studios was a truly positive and consequential decision in my quest to record ballads from the middle twentieth century and earlier. In undertaking my project, I was intent on finding a studio, which had the state-of-the-art technical equipment necessary to create a twenty-first century commercial product and which also had access to capable musicians whose arrangements would complement my singing style, an evocation of a much earlier period in American Popular Music history. I am very fortunate that Groove Tunes Studios, under the masterful direction of owner Eric Tunison, was the place that delivered fully on all of my demands. Eric's focused oversight of my project was highly competent, orderly, engaged, collaborative, flexible and reassuring.
